Acne Treatment Reviews - Treat Acne Fast
While scientists have proven that diet does not necessarily impact acne directly, it can increase your skin's chances of harboring acne causing bacteria or radicals. The truth is that our diet has a direct impact on our skin and the quality of our skin directly impacts acne's ability to form. Here are some dietary hints that you can use to help prevent acne.
Eat a diet high in fiber. Fiber helps absorb toxins and push them out of your body. Eating foods like breads made from whole grains (refined grains are just not as nutritious), legumes, vegetables and fruit will help you increase your fiber intake and your ability to fight toxins.
While junk food and foods high in fat certainly taste good, there is a reason the food is labeled as "junk!" It's bad for you! Do your best to make sure that fat never rises above twenty percent of your daily calorie intake. One of the easiest ways to do this is to avoid foods that contain hydrogenated oils. If your body is busy trying to break down fat and oil in your system, it won't be able to fight against bacteria as effectively.
Sugar is a huge no-no. People who suffer from severe acne have shown that their skin's glucose tolerance is significantly lower than those who do not suffer from severe acne. If your acne treatments and preventative measures don't seem to be working, consider cutting sugar from your diet (or at least significantly lowering your intake).
Caffeine believe it or not can increase acne production and has been proven to be horrible for your body! The most known sources of caffeine are coffee and non-herbal tea. Other foods, like chocolate, also contain caffeine (cocoa and coffee beans have similar properties) and should be sparingly consumed.By: Jason Popper
